Southern green stink bug

Nezara viridula

Description:

5th instar of a Nezara viridula nymph. It's an invasive stink bug, originating from Africa but now a worldwide pest. The adults will be all green, but with some characteristic differences from the local green shield bug (Palomena prasina).
