BINGO! Persistence pays. This individual is a male, as indicated by its coloration and terminal appendages.

Ok, Im going to say its either the slaty skimmer then.

Nope, not a Blue Corporal although I understand why you chose BC. Look closely at the wings of a BC -- notice the dark markings near the abdomen? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/265... The wings of your dragonfly don't look the same. Also, BCs are an early season species -- they're long gone by September! Would you like to make another choice, or would you like me to tell you what it is?
