Anhinga

Anhinga anhinga

Notes:

This is in fishing mode and explains why they are seen sitting with wings spread drying. These birds are great underwater hunters as they have little oil in their wings and this is why they need to dry them as they are water logged. Most birds have oils that shed water but make it difficult for them to stay submerged.
