Description:

Small, toothed, heart-shaped leaves. Leaves grow in bunches. It has many intriguing names including venus hair fern.

Habitat:

Seen growing on the outer walls of the Thurston Lava Tube (Nahuku) in a tropical rainforest. Volcanic soil. Moderate shade. Altitude 4065 ft. Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
