Warbling Vireo

Vireo gilvus

Description:

It's been described as a non-descript or dab. I actually would say more like dainty or elegant. Creamy colored under and medium grayish brown on top. It has a light color wide around the eyes. Short dark bill and dark legs.

Habitat:

Found in open woodland.

Notes:

Spotted trying to get to the fountain in the nectar garden in Coyote Hills. Everytime it tried it was stopped by the Anna's Hummingbirds which believe the fountain is all theirs.
