Harvestmen Feeding

Habitat:

Deciduous/coniferous mix

Notes:

I have no idea what species these harvestmen are, but was more captivated by what they were eating. It appears to be a small segment of earth worm. I didn't think anything about it until I saw yet another individual feeding on a similar organism many yards away.

Thanks Marta! I'm not 100% sure, but would assume that they would hunt them. The resources I found only list earthworms as a food source. That one looks pretty fresh.

Oh, wow! I wonder whether they hunt the earthworm or they eat it when is already dead?

Agree Stephanie! I don't get squeamish about much, but this was somewhat disgusting:)

Thanks Rob and Caleb!
