Pantropical Jumping Spider (♀)

Plexippus paykulli

Description:

This is another common house jumper that can be found in Malaysia (it is larger than Plexippus petersi). This one is a female spider, and it is brown in color. The body length of this spider is approximately 7 - 10 mm. I found it on the wall of my house.

Habitat:

- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the house and other man-made structures.

Notes:

- This spider is a part of family Salticidae (Jumping Spiders). The female one guarded its egg-sac in a silken chamber. Here is my spotting of the male one - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/133....
