This is the fruit of datura. It is famous in many parts of the world, because, this fruit is used as poison for suicide and murder. Especially because, the seeds contain highly toxic tropane alkaloids like scopolamine, hyoscyamine, and atropine. Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datura

in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu, I thought " Hey it's a pretty flower",only later, did I learnt about it's poisonous nature.
Nice one. the flowers are pretty,although this is a toxic plant ?
