Two Tailed Spider

Tamopsis sp.

Description:

3cm across the leg spread. Very well camouflaged and this species is brown.

Habitat:

commonly found hunting at night on Angophora bark

Notes:

one spotting male and female were about 15cm apart on the same tree. It is not a novahollandae

Revised, the name T. novahollandae seems to have disappeared but this was not it anyway. There was a female in this spotting series. Because they were near each other I was convinced they were a pair but they appear to be significantly different so I have removed her
