Spotted in flocks of about 10 to 12 at a camp site - dry open forest. these birds are found in the eastern part of Australia.

Notes:

Endearing little birds -they were a delight to watch !. They are often seen in association with White-winged Choughs, which was the case in the camp site.
They chattered constantly and were not perturbed by our presence, walking around the camp site looking for food. They have a varied diet of seeds, insects and small invertebrates.
