Potter wasp

Eumenes fraternus

Description:

I learned from a comment Ava T-B made in the last few days that this was probably built by a potter wasp. Is it possible to identify the particular wasp from this? Is the shape or building method distinctive to a particular genus or species?

Thanks, Jemma, your link was great! I will keep a watch on it ... hope I happen to be there when the new wasp hatches out.
