Red Mite

Erythraeidae sp.

Description:

a few mm in size, red and tick-like, very quick

Habitat:

this one is on an Angophora trunk

Notes:

This is the second similar mite entered and it may indicate one of the prices of heavily trafficked and disturbed bushland by suburban sprawls. Unbalanced infestation by parasite. The image is small, Blame that on being taken by the spare camera. This is also probably a different species of Erythraeidae
