Seen in the Reptile exhibition at the InBio Park in Santo Domingo, Heredia, Costa Rica. It is found in mesic lowland broadleaf or rainforest from sea level to elevation of about 900 metres (3,000 ft).
thanks again Brendan. Yes InBio was a really great place. Somehow they managed to reproduce all the different bio areas of Costa Rica as you walked through the park. And the snake exhibit and butterfly gardens were fabulous. It's an amazing park. Plan to spend the whole day!
No problem! I love seeing them and InBio is definitely a place I need to visit.
