Ensign Wasp

Evania appendigaster

Description:

I found this black Ensign Wasp wandering around my house. It have small oval tailed-abdomen, and it is held high like an ensign, or flag. The size of this wasp is about 13 mm long.

Habitat:

- Spotted on the wall of my house. Usually, it can be found around the house and garden.

Notes:

- Ensign Wasp is a wasp of a family Evaniidae. Ensign Wasp is useful to human because they lay their eggs in the oothica, or eggcases of Cockroaches.
