Trogon violaceus

Description:

About 23 cm long. The head and upper breast of the male are blue and the back is green, becoming bluer on the rump. A faint white line separates the breast from the orange yellow underparts. The undertail is white with black barring, and the wings are black, vermiculated with white. The complete eye-ring is yellow.

You are welcome! It could be that there is more spottings in Project Noah. You can type the name in the white box in organisms and any other spottings should show up :-)

I did not know that there are trogons also in the Philippines. I will check indeed :-)

wow! I love trogons too (but still haven't spotted any trogons yet haha) you should check Philippine Trogon, a lovely bird indeed! :)
