Hypolycaena antifaunus, the Large Fairy Hairstreak, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.
On the flower hedge. Several couple of them are seen here in the earlier afternoon hours. It must be mating season.
