Probably a Nephila. Not sure as cannot go to the opposite site to take picture.
Thanks bayucca. Still not very sure. Maybe need to take another trip to the site to get more pictures.
It is certainly a Nephila sp., but I had difficulties to find nice matches. I guess it is a younger female Nephila pilipes, without the typical blacl legs with the yellow markings at the junctions.
