Peacock Jewel

Aristocypha fenestrella.

Description:

Black & purple damselfly. Looks so pretty in flight when the sun catches the purple on the wings

Habitat:

Mountainside waterfall

Notes:

I first spotted this damselfly at the same water source but higher on the mountainside 3 days earlier, but I think this image is clearer for ident purposes ... original spotting - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/413...

Such brilliant colours. Reminds me of Peacock Jewel Damselfly....Rhinocypha fenestrella but it has "windows"in the wings....would you mind taking a look?
