Common Coqui

Eleutherodactylus coqui

Description:

Male Coqui found under a palm tree leave in the dense rainforest. Guarding a group of recently laid eggs. His colors matched perfectly with the palm tree leave.

Habitat:

Dense foreste of El Yunque National Rainforest. Palm tree leave was starting to decay and saturated with water. Area was very wet and humid.
