Bombycilla cedrorum
Sleek body and feathers which makes the bird sometimes look too perfect. Slick back crest, black eye mask and short bill. From a tawny brown top to slate blue wing tips and tail with a creamy yellow belly, the colors blend together nicely. The dramatic points are the bold red drops on the wings and the bright yellow end of the tail. Most Cedar Waxwings prefer eating berries. These were observed catching flying insects like a flycatcher.
