Moth

Description:

Medium sized moth, 2 cm long, with olive green coloring. The first two pictures are of the female which died on the balcony. As you can see in the 2nd picture, the moth is much harder to see against a dark background. When I turned it over, something had emerged from the abdomen, which is what probably killed it and there is still 1 small yellow egg visible. The last two pictures are of the male.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
