These are big birds, about 2.5 feet from stem to stern.

Habitat:

Spotted just off a path in scrub brush in deciduous woods.

Notes:

Wild Turkeys seem to enjoy staying visible, but difficult to photograph. I saw about a dozen of them and this pic is all I got.
