Description:

Spotted this one at the bottom of Imlay Canyon in Zion National Park.

Habitat:

Native to the rocky plateau areas of southern United States, primarily in New Mexico and Arizona, but it also ranges to Utah, Texas, and Colorado.

Thank you Ashley, no idea why I have the description of a tree frog there.

The scientific name and description you gave are for the Canyon Tree Frog. Tree Frogs would have a skinny body with skinny legs and enlarged toe pads. This is a Red-spotted Toad.
