Araneus diadematus
Really hairy looking spider with white spots on its back in the shape of a cross. Legs are striped and hairy.
We accidentally ruined the web this spider was making in the blackberry bushes beside the trail by Brydon Lagoon, Langley, BC. Pacific Westcoast.
Just love the pattern on the back of this spider. Thanks for the help with the ID jellis.
