HI EmilieChich I am not anywhere near where the picture was taken. I am back home in Saba. I will remember for the next time to take a picture of the gills and the upperpart of the stem. As I had to post it from memory and I did not actually measure the mushroom when I was standing there, I could be mistaken about the size. Your ID looks pretty accurate but I am still not sure. Thank you though.
The "morsecode" at the rim indicates that it might be a member of the Strophariaceae family, maybe Hypholoma sp., but unfortunately, I do not know any species that large (20 cm !). A photo of the gills and the upper part of the stem might help.
