Description:

About an inch long, this creature hunts and kills pest bugs in the house.

Habitat:

It likes somewhat moist environments where there are other bugs to hunt including cockroaches and silverfish, so it's actually a helpful guest.

Originating in the Mediterranean region, it has spread to other parts of the world, where it can live in human homes.
