Dead Man's Fingers

Xylaria sp.

Description:

I'm thinking that this must be the fungus know as 'Dead Man's Fingers', but I'm almost never right about fungi. Can anyone confirm the identity of this eerie looking fungus?

Habitat:

Found in a wooded area on a rotting log along side turkey tail fungus.

Thanks guys! I doubt we'll be able to narrow this down to the species with my photos so Xylaria sp. it is.

I'm not a mycologist, but it does look like a species of Xylaria.
