I do not know if this pose is a rection upon disturbing and hence a warning pose, but it looks like this.

Bombycidae, Apatelodinae or Apatelodidae (depending which taxonomic tree you use), Apatelodes sp.. Unfortunately there are many species found in Costa Rica and many on the wb are not trusted IDed. My closest guess would be Apatelodes merlona.
