Fall cankerworm

Description:

A moth of the family geometridae where the caterpillars grow to about 25 mm long. They come in variety of colors that ranges from light green to dark brownish green. usually light green caterpillar have white lines running down the body.

Habitat:

Found the caterpillar on a wood staircase outside surrounded by trees and a lot of plants. The whole area was like a forest.
