Above 1m long, dark/faded emerald green with small black spots along its body. Behavior: It never hissed nor tried to attack when I got close. It quickly escaped into the sewers when she finally felt threatened or about to get cornered.
Found in water (sewer drain) on a city with extreme temperatures. (Really hot during the day, really cold during night)
During my university years, I found this snake near my house, on an opened "drain" that led to the sewers. I had to balance myself with bare feet on a thin wall across it just so I could get close enough to take an understandable photo. Sadly, I somehow lost the rest of the pictures I took.

I had a guess it might be a grass snake, thought I wondered if I was confusing it with a viperine water snake. Since there's someone else also thinking it might be a grass snake, I will add that info for now.
Thank you!
Looks like a grass snake. Natrix natrix.
