Description:

Beautiful leaf beetle about 12 mm long. Black with bright red longitudinal lines.

Habitat:

I found this one feeding on a weed that the locals call "Snake weed" .

Thanks Mark.. I think I have never seen this beetle on the blue heliotrope leaf and we have lots of it! I have to have a closer look next time. :)
