Stelgidopteryx ruficollis

Description:

Es la única golondrina pardusca con rabadilla pálida en Colombia, anteriormente considerada conespecífica con S. serripennis. El nombre Stelgidopteryx deriva de las raíces griegas stelgis = raspador y pterux = alas. Su epíteto ruficollis deriva del latin rufus = rojo o rufo y collis = cuello.
