Buprestis lineata

Description:

Deceased teardrop shaped beetle, looks to be a jewel type from it's bright underbelly. It's back consisted of several wide banded vertical lines in rust and black. The head maintained some of the greenish jewel qualities of the underbelly. Antennae appear to be short and black. I don't quite remember the size, maybe 1/2 inch?

Habitat:

west central ga
