Orange Jelly Spot

Dacrymyces chrysospermus

Description:

Irregular, brain-like, gelatinous blobs that were orange-yellow in color. Some were more liquefied than others. Fruiting bodies were 5-20mm in size.

Habitat:

Growing on a rotting, decorticated conifer in a mixed forest.
