Panthera pardus
Kruger National Park
Seen on the H1-2 road between Skukuza and Tshokwane at the junction with the S84. We thought it was a monkey or a small cat at the roadside until it got closer. It kept disappearing into the bushes for a while then reappearing at the roadside before walking beside us and then jumping up on the signpost for a rest. Eventually jumped down and walked off towards Tshokwane.

Thank you blaise, this was my 1st spotting for Project Noah almost 3 years ago and acts as a reminder that I still have many more pics from our African trip to post here.

Yes, thanks. He/she was a real poser. This was my first spotting for Project Noah back in the early days and stayed on or near the top for several weeks.

Wow
Will do!
I suggest you read the book "Queen Of Shaba" by conservationist Joy Adamson.
Lions and Cheetahs and leopards have distinct personalities.Nobody could have brought them out better than Joy and George Adamson.
The second picture is BEAUTIFUL! It's very hard to get such a complete picture of a leopard. They tend to hide up in trees.
Absolutely amazing sighting seeing a Leopard on a sign!!
Wow, he was almost posing for you on that sign. Great images!
