Resurrection Fern

Polypodium polypodioidrs

Description:

Leathery evergreen leaves of this rhizomatous epiphyte are 1-3 dm long. When dry leaves curl up & make plant look dead. But a little H20 causes to reopen & thus to appear "resurrected." Leaves pinnate, lanceolate & entire.

Habitat:

I've seen only on Oak trees, but can be grown on wooden fence, etc. in FL. 32772, 32750
