Mushroom

Description:

Cap was dry, the only odor there was the smell of the wet woods around the mushroom, but the mushroom did not give off any specific scent itself

Habitat:

This mushroom was growing around a group of trees, but not on them. It was growing in a group of mushrooms, each about a few feet away from each other and the trees.

Notes:

It has rained very minimally here in the past month, so there weren't many mushrooms for us to find. All of the mushrooms we did find had dry caps and didn't look like they were doing great because mushrooms need a lot of water to survive and show themselves. Please help us find out what type of mushroom this is!
