Lizard. Approx 8 cm long. Sandy main color. Rounded head. No collar or horns.
This one was living in a red rock fin canyon. Juniper trees grow nearby. Arches NP.
Tried looking at a number of guides. Maybe Eastern or Western Fence Lizard? Body markings don't seem pronounced enough and head too large.
