Dynastes tityus
Believed to be the heaviest beetle in North America, the Eastern Hercules Beetle is pretty impressive. The males sport two large forward-facing horns (like this fellow). The color can range from yellow to almost greenish and they usually have dark spotting on the elytra. This was one from a large emergence in 2015. It was found deceased.
Suburban. Attracted to a flood light at night.
