Description:

Thick, rigid branches rising from a central base, with small clusters of flowers dotting their lengths; no noticeable leaves which is common in mature plants.

Habitat:

Open sandy areas of the remnant Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrubland plant community

Notes:

Very curious species, widespread in the patch where this one was photographed, but less common or absent in other remnant patches.
