Description:

Ochre and black parasitic wasp, 5 mm long. For the last picture of the underside of the moth I had to refrigerate it for a few minutes. Family Chalcidae.

Well ,I have been bitten by b a gall wasp and that hurt bad.

Hi Hema, no I don't think they bite, and they are too tiny anyway to feel it if they did.
