I didn't know these weren't that friendly. He did sing to me but I've never been bitten by one. Thanks for the older comments Vieta, Latimeria and elapj.
As Geckos go, these are not very nice. They have a reputation for biting! Did this one "sing" to you ? "Tu- ko! Tu-ko! ".
In Indonesia we call it "tokek"
Interesting...there's a video game in the Legend of Zelda series that has a race of lizard people called the Tokay...they look similar to this!
we call that "tuko" in our dialect. it really frightens me whenever i see one.
