Description:

With characteristic fluffy textured leaves and sweet black edible berries. Found colonizing the edge of forest damaged fragments. An invasive plant species - known to smother other native plant species thriving close to it.

Habitat:

Tropical forest.

Notes:

Presence of these plants a general indicator that the forest has been disturbed.
