A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Cereopsis novaehollandiae
I saw this bird in zoological park at Rabat, Morocco.
Hi Lori,
Thanks for the link. Its really a nice bird. I stay in Maharashtra state of India. So there is no chance that I will ever see that bird unless I come to your county. I am neither a naturalist nor a photographer. I just love nature and like to take photos of whatever I see. Its nice to communicate with you. I wish you being a photographer, comment or lets say critic on photos taken by be from that point of view. I would be happy to learn something from you.
Regards,
-Milind
You're welcome. Here's a photo of a wild one that I took on Maria Island, off the coast of Tasmania (which is where I live): http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/269... They really are very stunning birds.
That's a Cape Barren goose, which is native to Australia. Mainly found on off-shore islands.
