Poet's daffodil in the wild, a spring favorite in the Swiss Prealps.

Habitat:

Mid-altitude European mountain fields

They are listed on the flora of that area, but I couldn't tell you exactly where to go as I am at the other end of Switzerland... Their typical habitat is sub-alpine meadows (under 1600m ASL). I will comment here if I find more details!

Hello Maria! These plants are fragile and protected. They are highly localized, but where you find them they can cover entire fields. May will be the perfect time to see them. Can you tell me where in Switzerland you'll be visiting so that I can make suggestions?

Hey Daniele!

Those are really nice pictures :) Is that species easy to find in Switzerland or is it rare? Im travelling there in May and would love to see one of those beautiful Narcisus :)
