Description:

clusters of small greenish-white flowers, dropping about 6" in profusion all over the large trees. They bloom when the leaves are barely emerging, not full size.

Habitat:

With cottonwood on the banks of the Willamette River.

Notes:

Canoe paddles are best made out of the wood of this tree.
