Mariposa lechuza - Owl Butterfly

That's a fantastic shot! Never seen or heard about this one! It is an endemic species from the Atlantic coast rainforests of Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay!

What a beauty! I'm always jealous of people who can get close enough to butterflies to take such great shots of them :) It must be something to do with me having the grace of an elephant... Great find!
