Angels Trumpet

Brugmansia

Description:

Because of the thin, twisted nature of the 'trunk' I am not sure if this a tree or a bush or even climber that has been trained over the years. It was around 6 feet in height and the span of the canopy was around 5 feet. The yellow trumpet type flowers were around half a foot in length, they reminded me of marrow or courgette flowers, but on a much larger scale. They were all hanging underneath the canopy.

Habitat:

The 'tree' was growing in a garden in the centre of the town of Kusadasi, in a quite a sunny spot.

Thank you Dan, after reading the description it certainly fits the bill. It sounds very toxic considering how nice it looks.
