Description:

The flowers of this plant resemble a shooting star with its folded back sepals and arrowhead shape. Flowering stems erupt from a basal rosette of leaves.

Habitat:

I find these plants growing in a variety of locations ranging from dry mountain meadows to wetter, lowland sites.

This is a gorgeous shot, I love how identical the two plants are. Very pleasing to the eye :) And of course, those flowers are beautiful.
