common Indian Ape

Rhesus macaque

Description:

Extremely intelligent. we see a lot of monkeys and sometimes Baboons on our roofs in Gujarat and Delhi. Playful as they can be , I am very scared of them. They have the strength to rip off a limb...

Habitat:

Usually dry forests. Found in urban areas too, due to destruction of their habitats.
